What is an M3U Playlist?

An M3U playlist is a standard file format that contains an ordered list of links to multimedia streams. Essentially, it's a simple text file where each line points to a video or audio stream.

In the context of IPTV, an M3U file contains the addresses of all your TV channels, movies, and series. It typically comes as a URL like:

http://your-provider.com/get.php?username=xxx&password=xxx&type=m3u_plus

Your IPTV provider gives you this URL when you subscribe. You then simply paste it into your IPTV player.

Where to Find Your M3U Link?

Your M3U link is provided by your IPTV access provider. You typically receive it:

  • By email when confirming your subscription
  • In your client area on the provider's website
  • Via a message from your provider

Don't confuse the IPTV player (the application) with the IPTV provider (who provides the content). Moove IPTV is a player: it provides no content. You need your own M3U source.
